Gravity is what pulls us down to earth.
The force of gravity is a mixed blessing. Although we depend on it to keep us in our beds at night, to keep the atmosphere down on Earth where we need it, to keep the Earth in its orbit around the sun, and to keep our food on the plate, it also comes with the inescapable hazard of falling down and hurting one'self, against which one must be ever vigilant and on his or her guard.
Gravity
You'd have to say 'yes', just because "down" is the name that we give to the direction that gravity pulls us.
Gravity pulls things down, right? So, gravity must keep you on the ground, but it does not mean thatit can stop any nasty accidents.
The force to keep us and nearly everything else on the ground is GRAVITY.
It is pulling us toward the center of the earth. We are lucky we live on Earth and no some planet with a weak gravity where we can fly in the clouds.

The force that keep's us (or you) is the gravity.
enough to keep us on it
To keep us from floating in to space.

Gravity Pulls us Down on Earth. We would be Floating With Out it!

No one knows.
Only because the Earth is the largest mass NEAR us. Closeness is everything to gravity.
