to clear the wider rear tire
It is smaller in displacement, but is bigger in horsepower.
no totally different engine, and engine bay lay out. Smaller engine (civic) cant cool a bigger engine (accord)
the exhaust valve will always be smaller as the piston is forcing the combusted gases out. The intake valves have to be bigger as the piston is only drawing the mixture in through sucktion.
Generally speaking bigger engines have more power (BHP) than smaller ones. This doesn't mean the car will be faster than a car with a smaller engine however as many other factors come into play. Bigger engines are also more likely to consume more fuel.
if you have engine oil in your fuel injectors then you have bigger problems then your car not starting..
Smaller aircraft like fighters usually have a much more powerful engine and a better power to weight ratio, so they go faster.
Hard to tell. Sometimes a bigger motor run on a smaller throttle will use less fuel than a smaller motor run all out.
It depends on the age of the car, engine size & engine code/type. The smaller ones are generally chain. the bigger ones are generally belt.
Smaller planes have piston engines, but bigger planes like the Boeing 717-777 and other planes have turbine engines
The Volvo s40 is equiped with a smaller engine. The larger the number is next to the s, the bigger the engine and the faster the car goes. The three types of Volvos are: s40s, s60s, and s80s.
This question really has no answer. Displacement (liters) and horsepower are two completely different types of measurements. Displacement measures how big the engine is, and horsepower measures the power output. A bigger or smaller engine doesnt mean more or less power.
the oler one is not working the bigger engine as hard as the newer one is working the smaller engine.
