because the body gets really hot (or cold) and for me anyways, i always get thirsty and drinking liquids are good for you, but sometimes you might overdrink, or become dehydrated because you don't drink enough.

Fever can be fatal because when it reaches a certain temperature, the body's enzymes, which are responsible for chemical reactions are distroyed. Without chemical reactions, we will die.
