It's down to how the ice is made, home made ice cubes contain alot of oxygen in the ice which In turn makes them a milky colour where as pub ice is produced in an ice machine where filtered water and alot less oxygen is mixed when frozen
Dry ice bubbling up through whatever concoction you made will make it "fizzy", or carbonated.
Soda, flat or carbonated, is a set of compounds in solution.
No the brand of the soda does not have any affect over the speed of how fast a soda goes flat.

There are a couple of ways to do this if you really want to make your soda flat. First, you could shake it up a lot before or after breaking the seal on the lid. Of course, make sure the lid is tightly screwed on or you will make a mess. Also, make sure you wait until the soda is no longer fizzing before you open it, or it will spew everywhere due to air compression and release. Second, you could refrigerate then defrigerate; refrigerate, then defrigerate, and so on. Of, you could freeze, then unfreeze; freeze, then unfreeze, and so on. Repeatedly cooling and warming of soda will flatten it. Third, you could just leave the lid off the bottle for some time (exposing it to air) and the soda will eventually become flat.
it's not fizzing with bubbles
Flat soda pop is homogeneous because its bubbles are gone.
soda maintains its carbonation (fizz) better at colder temperatures. This is because the cold carbonation is denser, making it sink, and the heated carbonation is less dense, so it rises and escapes from the soda. the soda becomes flat(no fizz), and nobody wants flat soda.
yes yes
The carbon dioxide slowly comes out of it.
Yes if a carbonated soda is left out for a long time while it is open the fizz will dissolve into the air thus making the beverage flat. :)
