The easiest way is to open Internet Explorer, highlight the address at the top (the line will start = http://) then right click and copy this address. Open firefox and paste the address you copied from explorer into the address line and hit return. This will take you to the same page you had for explorer (but in firefox). Now click on the 'Tools' menu at the top of firefox and select 'options'. Then click on the button which says 'Use current page' then click 'OK' at the bottom and you are done.
Open IE. Click on the Help menu. Click on "About Internet Explorer." The window that pops up will tell you which version it is.
Windows XP: Open the Start Menu by pressing the "start" button in the lower left corner of the screen. Choose "All Programs". This will expand the "All Programs" menu. Click on "Paint.Net". If You had accidentally deleted the shortcut, open the Windows Explorer (Start > All Programs > Accessories > Windows Explorer), go to "C:\Program Files\Paint.Net" and open the "PaintDotNet.exe" file. Windows Vista / Windows Seven: Open the Start Menu and type (in the Search field) Paint.Net. From the results choose Paint.Net.
You can reconnect to Internet explorer by stopping its process. You can then open it again.
