its because it always humid and warm and warm air carries a lot of water vapour which makes it rain alot

Weather systems moving off bodies of water can affect local rainfall patterns. And areas with lots of trees and lush growth produce more water vapor, which in turn increases the amount of rain that will fall on a given area.

Not all rainforests are tropical. There is a temperate rainforest on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington state.
