Why does it say you have unsent messages in your outbox everytime you log out of windows mail even though you click yes to send?

It means that the messages have not been sent. The 'send' button 'finishes' an email that you have been writing and puts it in the outbox. Maybe you were offline, or maybe your emailer was clicked to 'offline'.
Or maybe your program tried to send it, but were not connected to a valid 'send email' ISP account.
So, make sure you are online.
Make sure your email program is set to 'online'.
Make sure you have entered a valid/authorised 'from' address in the 'from' box.
Make sure you are connected to the correct emailing ISP for that account.
Then click the 'send all' button.
It might work!
