Because you're doing it wrong.

Answer: Maybe you're too fussy and you're trying to trim them as short as possible. Anyway, 1 hour is bad, but it's not as bad as the last time I trimmed my toenails, which took an incredible 4 hours! I had to stop several times, to stretch and relax my sore legs from being hunched over for so many hours.

I don't know why it would take anybody 10 minutes to trim fingernails let alone an hour or more for toenails... It should only take maybe 2 minutes to trim your fingernails.

Why is there sixty minutes in a hour?

Because if it were only 30 minutes, it would only be a half hour.

How many minutes does 1 hour 43 minutes equal?

There is only 60 minutes in each hour, and there are only 120 minutes in 2 hours. If you count 17 minutes back, the answer to what would be one hour and 43 minutes is 103 minutes.

Why are there 132 minutes in an hour 12?

There are not 132 minutes in an hour. There are only 60 minutes in one hour.

How many hours is 27 minutes?

1 hour is 60 minutes. Since 27 is less than 60, 27 is only a fraction of an hour. 27 minutes = 0.45 of an hour

If you take a bill every half an hour how many minutes would the pill last?

If a boy with a birth defect is born with 14 toes 11 fingers and 3 thumbs How many fingernails does the boy have?

56. actually, it would be 14... it's a trick question. 11 fingers and 3 thumbs is 14 fingers, and each finger only has one nail. Toenails aren't the same as fingernails, so the 14 toes would just be irrelevant.

Why is 60 a good choice for an hour rather than 59?

Well, if your hour has 60 minutes in it, then 1/2 hour = 30 minutes 1/3 hour = 20 minutes 1/4 hour = 15 minutes 1/5 hour = 12 minutes 1/6 hour = 10 minutes 1/10 hour = 6 minutes 1/12 hour = 5 minutes 1/15 hour = 4 minutes 1/20 hour = 3 minutes 1/30 hour = 2 minutes But if your hour only has 59 minutes in it, then 1/2 hour = 29.5 minutes or 29 minutes 30seconds 1/3 hour = 192/3 minutes or 19minutes 40seconds 1/4 hour = 14.75 minutes or 14minutes 45seconds 1/5 hour = 11.8 minutes or 11minutes 48seconds 1/6 hour = 95/6 minutes or 9minutes 50seconds 1/10 hour = 5.9 minutes or 5minutes 54seconds 1/12 hour = 411/12 minutes or 4minutes 55seconds 1/15 hour = 314/15 minutes or 3minutes 56seconds 1/20 hour = 2.95 minutes or 2minutes 57seconds 1/30 hour = 129/30 minutes or 1minutes 58seconds Which choice seems like the more convenient one to you ?

Is 1000 seconds more than 1 hour?

no, 1000 seconds is only about a little over 16 minutes, about 44 minutes short of an hour

Is 3.15 hours the same as 3 hours and 15 minutes?

No, because two decimals reference a number out of one hundred, but there are only 60 minutes in an hour. So (0.15 of an hour) * (60 minutes) = 9 minutes.

Why is there 60min in an hour not 10?

If there were 10 minutes in an hour, then you could only split an hour into 2 or 5 equal pieces without cutting up any minutes. With 60 minutes in an hour, you can split an hour into 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 12, 15, 20, or 30 equal pieces, without cutting up any minutes.

What can you do in a hour?

You can watch the show 60 Minutes. You can also to 3,600. You can stare at a clock or watch for 60 minutes. There are several TV shows that are only on for an hour. Good Luck!

How do you get your nails growing?

Fingernails and toenails grow from a point near the roots below the skin, at the base of the nail where the nail is very thin. White in color, and half-moon in shape, this semi-circle is appropriately named the "lunula," and comprises a group of cells that manufacture keratin, a dead, hoof-like protein. The keratin like protein produced, gathers and merges with the nail plate, the dead armor that protects the soft and tender nail bed underneath, and pushes the entire nail up and out. Though the fingernails and toenails grow an average of two inches per year, their growth slows with age, and the average adult's fingernails grow only one inch over the course of eight months.
