Because the specific heat of water is very high. In fact, water has about 1400 times more heat carrying capacity than air.
Actually i believe that hot oil cools faster than hot water because to cool down water you first have to emmm..... i think you have to condense it i think HOPE IT HELPS IF IT DOESN'T PLS DON'T HATE ME OR CURSE :)
depends on the "ingredients" a hot potato takes a lot longer than a noodle to cool down.
In my experiment, he water with sugar had the most heat retention and cooled slower than the fresh water. I'm not 100% sure why, but I think it is because it is denser, therefore, when it is heated, more particles have been heated. If there are more particles heated, then it will take longer for each particle to cool down than water which has less particles.
The boiling point of water goes down at higher altitudes, and so foods take longer to cook (because the temperature of the food doesn't usually exceed the boiling point of water).See the Related Questions about how elevation effects the boiling point of water.
Beause cold water is less dissovlable
Water takes longer to heat up and to cool down then it does for land.
yes, hot water just cools down cold water will turn into ice which will take longer
It takes longer to cool off, but mostly depending on the temperature.
It would take longer for the house to cool down because hot air can heat up the house faster
insulators although they take a long time to heat up, it takes a longer time to cool down. that's why if you heat water in a metallic container it takes more time for the water to cool down than the coontainer.
Bubbles last longer in cool water because the cold water doesn't take energy from the bubbles
water cools quicker because it evaporates. It's why you feel cool when the wind hits your wet skin in dry climate.

i dont think so...i dont see why it would at all. its just water and eventually that water will cool down and freeze into ice. it may take a little longer to freeze but it probably wont do any harm
5 hrs to freeze solid
Salt, if you put it on ice, melts the ice. So that probably what is causing it not to freeze as fast.
You can walk the horse, if it is hot outside you can take it for a swim or spray with water.
