this is Justin from Canada. I think you mean Juggling the ball in the air. If I am right, it helps by familiarizing your foot to the ball. so your touch improves. And once you can juggle consistantly to 100+ then you can start doing tricks in the air like "around the world" and so on. look them up in YouTube, quite cool. (I was very proud of my first around the world)
Now, you only want to do this barefoot or in thin shoes that have a similar shape as your foot because you tend to get used to the shoe you use. GOOD LUCK! ; ;I'm not a beginner I can already know atw, htw,etc./I just want to know why it helps to sit on the ground to juggle.
