this is Justin from Canada. I think you mean Juggling the ball in the air. If I am right, it helps by familiarizing your foot to the ball. so your touch improves. And once you can juggle consistantly to 100+ then you can start doing tricks in the air like "around the world" and so on. look them up in YouTube, quite cool. (I was very proud of my first around the world)
