Im using one now! It is when you find a text box or entry, tap it and the keypad will automatically come up, if this didn't work you should seek some help at a store as your iPhone is faulty
Go to the Window option and select KeyPad
Hold down "Alt", then press "3" on your keypad. It should come up as this : ♥
When you "enable" your number lock key, when you press the number buttons on the numeric keypad it will type numbers. When you "disable" your number lock key the number keys on your numeric keypad will no longer come up but the keypad will return to its default settings. Certain numbers do certain things when the number lock key is disabled.
Hold down the "Alt" key and press the "3" on your keypad and this should come up: ♥
Look on your telephone. Figure out the word you can make from the letters on the numbered keys of the keypad. I tried but all I could come up with was Hagetta.
One of the advantages of having a numeric keypad is that you can type in numbers faster. One of the disadvantages of having a numeric keypad is that is takes up space on your keyboard.
When you type on the Ps3 a keypad on the screen will pop up. The Keypad you buy is to type easier on the Ps3.It is best to wait and purchase the keypad after you find the need. That will depend on how much you type and whether you mind the slower on screen keyboard.
I assume it's a standard keypad with normal keyFunctions, for example presses of the '2' key will come up with letter A, B or C. If so, press the number on your keypad corresponding to what letter you want shown on the keypad. Example would be 'Hello.' would normally be this key-sequence, "44 33 555 555 666 1". Good luck.

You'd have to face up to the fact that it's broke, and if it became a major inconvenience, then you'd have to replace the keypad.
