She goes out when the girl isn't there only to find that the girl has only planted Lima beans. Ana feels horrible and calls upon Wendell to help her make the plants right again. Ana is American (caucasion) and doesn't grow any plant for she is too old (at least 80 years old). Ana came to Cleveland from Romania in 1919 when she was 4. She is 82 years old and a former typist in a parole office.
