That shouldn't be a question because it's common sense that lava is hot because it comes from the core and essential for our earth to have the flow. Lava helps make islands and etc. If the lava was cold that means our core would be a ball of ice and we would be living in a different formation of crust in the surface of our planet.
it is really cold
It usually depends on how hot the lava and how cold the water is. I think it can take around half a minute for the lava to cool off when its in cold water and that's all i can think of.
it cools it down
Lava flows from the rifts and is cooled quickly by sea water
volcanoes are a rock formation that's what the have to do with rocks and when the hot magma (lava) gets hit with cold water the magma (lava) starts to harden there fore creating a lava rock
it is really cold
Easy, temperature. An example is lava. Lava is so hot, it is red. Snow, it is so cold because it is white.
one is HOT lava lava and rock............magma is cold lava so you don't have to say HOT lava

Hot/Cold cycle.
it cools it down
hot water contains more energy than cold water. cold water causes the water molegules to vibrate more.

The moon is cold and it has craters . The sun is hot and has lava all over it!
Lava is extremely hot!! Lava is molten rock- over 1000 Celsius.
Well, hot lava isn't an eruption. Hot lava is what magma is called after it comes out of a volcano.
