Why would a ford contour stall while going around a corner?
i had this happen before. it was before i cleaned out the lower intake manifold. car was running too rich and not getting enough air. when i turned the steering it would put stress on the engine when idling and then stall.

When its really hot out or i turn my 96 ford explorer on and off too many times it will stall or it will start but seem like its not turning over all the way then when stopped will stall out?
Normally this is caused by a system that is running too rich (too much gas) or the timing is way too far advanced; you should have a check engine light on and a trouble code that indicates where the problem may be. Be sure and bypass the computer control if you check the timing.
