Problem is most likely your alternator or your fuel pumps.
to disconnect the battery by 10 minutes
The 1985 Mercedes 190e could have a stuck choke. Check the choke mechanisms to start with, to see if that's the problem.
Yes if you do not want to get the car inspected again.
The car company that produced the 190E model is Mercedes-Benz. This model was produced by Mercedes-Benz from 1982 through 1988 and again from 1991 through 1993.
How do you remove a radio from a 190E?
Does the engine turn over but not start or it does not turn over till cold? If the latter is the answer then your kick start is the problem. REPLY The car turns over but wont start.
yes, in park, at operating temperature (let it warm up for about for about 5 minutes)
TRY CHANGING FLYWHEEL ELECTRONIC SENSOR CABLE>This is also known as the crank position sensor on these cars. I had the EXACT same symptoms from my 1986 190e 2.3, and the solution was to replace the Fuel Pump Relay.I always thought if a relay went, the fuel pump simply would not pump fuel - However on this car is caused intermittent shut downs, 5 - 15 minutes apart and then seemed to restart after cooling down. Odd, but a cheap junk-yard part - just make sure the number on the relay itself are identical. This part is located directly behind the battery, and may be labeled with some numbers, "4cyl" or "w/kickdown" depending on model. It could also be bad cap, rotor, and plugs I have a 91 190E did same thing runs fine now after replacing these
A Mercedes 190e doesn't have a carburetor. They are fuel injected.
Cold start valve is bad or possibly blown fuse in overload protection relay
Why does my fuel pump keep running on my 1984 190E
oil filter on a Mercedes 190E 1986 is in the back of engine
