The hot wire bypasses the ignition.
ohm your crankshaft postioning sensor if it is open this is it also could be your module under your coils
Probably your emergency brake pedal. Try lifting up on your e brake pedal and see if id goes out.
We replaced the fuel filter today and it starts now, but runs very raggedly. It tries to Rev it self up and the tracometer goes back down to 1. Does any one have any suggestions?
If the check engine light does not flash when in the diag mode, the problem is the computer. Could be as simple as a failed lamp driver but a failed computer is toast and will need to be replaced/
from all model from 2002 to 2005, the interior clock and mileage stay on after car is off.
Could be a problem in the steering column Could be a shorted bulb (both filaments touching) searching for ground
Sounds like it could be the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS), but you might check the wiring connections at the sensor which is mounted on transmission.
maybe only for 1 minute or two If it stays on beyond that try to push the clock button while everything is powered off to see if display goes off
A bad switch, or a short in the wiring. This behavior in only one brake light would indicate the latter. Good luck
