Why does my 1997 Chevy Lumina quit blowing are out the vent when I am accelerating and come back on when I reach crusing speed?

You may have a vacuume leak, when ure at low speeds there is alot of engine vaccume, as u go faster the vacume falls and if the blower sytem is vacue controld the ducts may close from lack of vacume.
