I also wish someone would answer this question as my 1997 Ford contour does the same thing. It shakes and vibrates very bad when it idles and it idles really low. On the 1997-2000 Ford Expedition models the 3rd row seat are remove by. Folding seat in half then pull handle in the rear of the center of the seat bottom portion of the seat up. Pull handle and push top of seat forward. Be very careful the 3rd row seat is very heavy. Best bet is to get someone to help to fit it out.
