check your park brake switch it limits rpm}
it could be... I also have a 2000 banshee and i was having the same problem. it would idle o.k but bog as soon as i hit the throttle. it turned out to just be a bad ground on my new bars. i scraped a lil paint off and i hasn't done it since. Now i got carborator sincronization problems big time. let me know if you got tips! or carbs ha
The switch is to limit the engine RPM if the throttle sticks wide open.
Check wires aren't crushed or exposed. You might want to look at the throttle switches on the carbs and thumb box which are for limiting the RPM with a stuck throttle. You might want to temporarily disconnect the rev limiter box to test for this- just unplug it. Lastly pulloff the flywheel again and recheck the flywheel key.
Trinity makes a CV carb kit, it comes with everything you need just bolt it on. I have this kit on my banshee and I highly recommend it. The kit is very high quality, makes tuning a breeze, and you never have to worry about your carbs being unsynchronized.
If you are referring to leaking out of one of the overflow hoses, your float is sticking. If it is leaking from the body of the carb, the gasket where the carb and float bowl bolt together needs to be replaced.

banshee 500 dont exist
you have to make sure the needles are moving up at the same time so when you push the throttle they have to lift at the same time and you want them to be at the same height and lowest as possible. if one side is way off, adjust the top nut and bolt till the match. then try start it and adjust both idle ajustments out for less idle and in for more idle.
