If the headlights on the 2004 GMC Envoy are not working, there could be a loose connection somewhere. If all of the other lights are working, it is most likely not a fuse that has blown. Double check the wiring to see if there is a loose connection.

I had the same problem with my 02 Envoy. Check to make sure contacts inside the sockets are intact. I had to replace both of mine. Contact were corroded and rusted out.

Turn the ignition over without starting it, push the gas pedal down all of the way three times within 5 seconds, The light will flash indicating you were sucessful, turn ignition to off this locks the reset then start your car and the light should go off. If this does not work, repeat procedure. This worked on 2003, 2004, 2006 envoy, and is suppose to work on all year models. Also check your GMC owners manual under systems management.
