Why does my 280zx turbo run fine sitiing still but when you try to drive it starts to hiccup and sputter and will not go above 20-30mph?

Hey I had this problem recentlt and it turned out that the leads from the inside of the distributor were swapped. The green and red wires were in th ewrong position!!

Check the air filter to see if it is stopped up. Check all the vacuum hoses for a leak. Replace the PCV valve.

sounds like a vacume leak! check your vacume lines and block off the brake booster line. may be a defective booster.
