Yes, it's overfueling, a common fault on this model.
You need to take out the spark plugs and dry them, a hair drier will do it.
Leave the plugs out for maybe an hour to allow the excess fuel to evaporate in the engine.
Replace the plugs and try to start - do not touch the accelerator until it has started.
Never stop the engine until it begins to warm up, at least five minutes, or until the temp gauge begins to move.
You need to check if there is a spark at the plugs & also if fuel is getting to the cylinders. The micra has a fuel injection fuse in the fuse box located on the front panel. It may also be a problem with the crank position sensor or the engine coolant tmprature sensor.
Check the spark plugs and starter.
Check the engine coolant temprature sensor it may be sending the wrong signals to the ECU making the ECU think the engine is cold and overfueling the engine.
my 2000 nissan altima wont start has new radiator and spark plugs the computer test shows no problems it recently overheated
No spark No fuel No compression
Does it turn over? Is it getting fuel? Is it getting spark?
If the choke not work properly then your car wont start in cold weather or morning times. The other reason might be the fuel section is dirty and need some service.
check the distributer or change the spark plug wires and spark plugs this happened to my try changing the moguel
A weak spark can be caused by a faulty ignition coil, or perhaps bad spark plug wires.
combustion engines need 3 things to run: fuel, spark, air
I went to Timsons to have a new betery put inkey fob he could not do it as it would wipe memory of key and the car would not start where do I now take key for battery change
have you replaced and or tested both coils? are you getting no spark on the intake and the exaust sides?
