A weak spark can be caused by a faulty ignition coil, or perhaps bad spark plug wires.
Either no spark or no gas
I would look at the fuel system next. It takes two thing to make a car run, fuel and spark.
Yes, If you don't have spark, or if the timing is very off, it won't start. You can get a cheap spark plug tester at any auto store that would plug into the spark plug wire and would show the spark fire.
Any number of things. Take the car and have it checked by a Tune-up shop.
That engine needs fuel, compression and spark to start and run. You are missing one of those.
could be a number of things. The first thing i would do is check when the last time you had an engine tune up. Usually every 80000kms is recommended in a sentra. It most likely is the spark gap on your spark plugs, they could be getting old and need to be replaced. I recommend NKG spark plugs, you dont need platinum tipped ones, i find they cause more problems. I hope this helped.
tps or idle speed motor
No spark No fuel No compression
i have a 1991 nissan sentra speed up to 35 and start to miss
where is the fuel filter located would like to see a picture , 1990 Nissan Sentra sedan
You, in all probabilty have either bad battery connections, a bad battery or the start solenoid. I would say the connections are the problem.
AnswerIf its not the battery, or alternator. Check your ground wire, down by the starter, to make sure its not loose.
Change the fuel filter.
poor compresion, bad plug, bad wire, bad cap or rotor start with these there cheaper
98 Nissan sentra only came with ga16de and sr20de, any ve motor would be considered a swap seeing that its a motor made strictly only in japan
crank sensor bad, MAF sensor bad, dirty throttle body, idle air control valve
Start with checking the battery terminals for corrosion, then the wires going to the starter. Be sure everything is clean and tight. Also have the battery checked
