It sounds like the valve guide seals might need replacing. As you go down hill (no throttle), oil is drawn past the faulty seal by the vacuum from the cylinder. Job can be done without removing the cylinder head if you have the right tools and knowledge.

It may be the floats are stuck in the carburators or the chokes may be stuck on.

The Sweet was available in all chokes (with the exception of an open choke) at one time or another. '*' designates full choke (F). '*-' designates improved modified choke (IM). '**' designates modified choke (M). '**-' designates improved cylinder choke (IC). '**$' designates skeet (SK). '***' designates cylinder bore (CYL).
There are many different kinds some vary from specialty ones like skeet and others are made for slugs or 0/1 shot, but there are 4 main kinds and those are: Modified Cylinder, Improved Cylinder, Cylinder, and Full
Modified is a smaller, tighter pattern than improved cylinder. Basically, the slope in a modified choke tube is steeper than an improved cylinder choke tube.
I would use either a modified,or improved cylinder,choke for close in small bird hunting.
You can use a sabot in any shotgun, as long as the barrel is not choked. If you have screw in chokes, you will want to use ONLY the Cylinder or CYL choke. Otherwise, you will need to look on the barrel to see what it is choked in. If you do not have screw chokes, unless it says CYLINDER or SLUG, it is probably choked. (It may say Improved, IM, Modified, Full, etc)
