Why does my Suzuki Samurai stall out after it has been under water. It was turned off and not ran till the fluids were changed the following day?

Did you also completely drain the gas tank and carb? Or if it's fuel injected at least pour a couple pints of 90% isopropal alcohol in the tank and bleed the fuel rail a few times. Injectors cannot inject water. The alcohol will absorb the water and then it can pass thru the injectors. I'm assuming you removed the distributor and completed air dried it.
