Quite simply - most reptiles are 'loners' ! Many reptiles would never deliberately seek out another animal in the wild - unless it was for breeding. Your lizard is displaying characteristic defense behaviour. For the dragon's well-being - keep it secluded away from other animals in your household.

a bearded dragon is a very good but very expensive one of the only ways to make a dragon hate you is not to take good care of him

Definitely a bearded Dragon, they are much more a tame and active in the day. A beardie will cost you more but i can tell you they are amazing pets. :) P.S I have 2 crested Geckos and 5 Bearded Dragons
It depends on the intellect that this bearded dragon has. For example I have a male bearded dragon and it managed to learn one or two tricks but my grandparents learned like five tricks.
If you mean by resemble; what does a bearded dragon look like, I would probably say an Ankylosaurus.
Its an amazing experience, they are great and very cheap pets. They are easy and great first time pets but they are difficult to cuddle 😂
