If the check engine light has come on, have the codes read. That would be a good place to start.
a loose transmission or shifter rod might move the gears around a bit and make it stall
Need to replace the ingnetion module in the distributor.
Stalling at idle? Immediately after starting? While driving? While stopping? Cold or hot engine? What engine do you have?
Possible bad fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator. Give more symptoms
you have blown a head gasket
Could be a plugged up fuel filter.

Throttle Position Sensor. I changed mine and my truck doesn't stall anymore, and it does better on gas. That is if you know how to drive standard and are not just stalling it yourself.
