Why a dog has not defecated in days?

Dogs get constipated just like people do, and mostly for the same reasons. Too much food, too little water or exercise. Check with your vet if you dog doesn't poop for three days. It surely has a tummy ache, and may get really sick. Give it a little salty treat to make it thirsty, and walk, walk walk.Bellyrubs in a clockwise motion may help things along as well.

If your dog is pooping lots, then you probably are feeding it too much dry food. Make sure your dog always has fresh water nearby, and don't always feed it dry dog food.

I would strongly suggest that you go to a vet. Tell them what your dog has been eating and they most likely will be able to help you.
