Why does my guinea pig not like being scracht on her back?

if your guinea pig is new to your family, then maybe she is just a little bit wary of you. You need to give your piggie time to settle in. If your guinea pig has been with you for a while, and doesnt normally mind being scratched anywhere else, then there are two posibilities:
1. that just might be a place she doesnt like being scartched
or
2.she/he may feel uncomfertable with you scratching her there. Check to see if your piggie looks like she is in pain, if so, get her checked out by a vet.

∙ 14y agoBecause the scab itches. The kindest thing to do is put local anaesthetic cream on the scab (to stop it itching) and then prevent the guinea pig licking it off (bandage it or something).
