Why does my minecraft keep deleting my items when I put them in boxes I'll put an item in the box ex- a sword then save and turn it off and when i re-open the box later the item is gone?

If you mean a chest, it could be a bug.
If its a crafting table, it could've despawned or it could of fallen into lava.
