Yes, its completely ok since your tongue, after getting burned, is undergoing the normal inflammatory process until the burnt taste buds would be changed. It will be painful for sometime depending on the degree of burn and would feel little until it becomes normal again.

The tougue is a very sensitive organ so be very careful,or you will feel a slight dose of pain.
