Get a new car that's actually worth something.
my experience in stereo work you get the deepest bass with the subs facing the open trunk area
The trunk of your car is the best place to mount a pair of subs. The trunk also acts like a sound chamber for the subs. Just make sure you seal the trunk good so it will not raddle when the bass hits.
It is not possible to replace the trunk lock on a 1993 Caprice Classic while the trunk is closed. A person will have to remove the back seat, crawl into the trunk and open the lock manually before it can be replaced.
There is a switch by the trunk lid and sounds like it needs replacing.
I Like Them Facing With The Speaker Face. Otherwise You Defeat The Purpose
You can open it from inside the trunk by lowering the back seats. On the inside of the trunk door, there is a white lever. Pull it and the trunk will open.
Bad gasket, latch not fully holding trunk closed.
If the trunk is actually closed, sounds like a faulty sensor
I have 2 12" subs in my 2005 tiburon w/ a big ported sub box and it fits just fine. In fact there is extra room back there for a few smaller items.
Means your trunk isn't closed properly
