Natural gas contains Methane which contains only one carbon atom therefore it produces only one mole of carbon dioxide for every mole of methane burnt plus water. It is a cleaner fuel, not clean!!
Natural gas is called a clean gas because it burns much cleaner than any other fuel. When natural gas is used in vehicles, the exhaust emissions are much less harmful for the environment.
Natural Gas is an extremely clean burning fuel if done properly. The burning of natural gas should result in water vapor and carbon dioxide. In fact a *scent agent* is added to natural gas that smells of rotten eggs. The addition of the *scent agent* is a safety feature since if natural gas leaks it has not detectable scent to people.
because it pollutes less than the other fossil fuel and emmission of co2 is less compared to other fuel
Whale oil.

No it is not. But Crude Oil, coal, and Natural Gas are!

Natural gas has long been considered an alternative fuel source to that of conventional petroleum fuel sources.
Is natural gas fossil fuel
Whale oil.
It is "clean" because the by-product in the combustion of Natural Gas is water vapor and and carbon dioxide. That is the same products we exhale. That is why it is considered so clean. The main reason is because NG is mainly comprised of methane. Hope this helps! See the link....
Wood is not a fossil fuel (they are coal, oil and natural gas).
Your question makes no sense, natural gas IS a "fuel".
It is in air- it is a gas. So, yes it is a fuel.
