first thing to check is to make sure you are not low on oil, second would be a dirty filter, third would be a weak sensor that may not be reading the right oil pressure and forth would be the oil pump is getting week and only build enough pressure when at higher engine speeds.
I have an 01 Pontiac sunfire and I have noticed that the check gages light comes on when the gas is low. I have never seen any other indicator come on for low fuel.
You have a bad alternator.
I have a 1995 Pontiac Sunfire . The "check gages " light comes on when my gas tank is on empty. I dont know if this is a right answer but this is how I know I need to fill up at the gasbar .
Dash ground is loose.
Main ground for dash is loose.
In 1992, it was called the Sunbird. The Sunfire did not come out until 1995
There are several reasons why the ABS light could be staying on in your 1995 Pontiac Sunfire. One reason is that the cable could have come loose. Another is that the fuse could be bad. To be on the safe side, you should have the car checked by your mechanic to see if there are any serious problems with the brakes themselves.
why do most all my dash light come on and the one head light looking one blinks.. i do have about 14 volts coming from the alternator and the battery at all times.
You should be able to squeeze 15.2 gallons into your tank, according to this source; http://consumerguideauto.howstuffworks.com/1995-to-2005-pontiac-sunfire-6.htm FriPilot In Canada (and other metric countries) that is 50L. The warning light should come on when you have 5L left in the tank.
On some, you can get to the back of the light assy and take the bulbs out. If not, the assy has to come off
absolutely nothing it seems, the light can be a finicky thing, check your ias (the wire connected to your air hose) that's a usual suspect
It might cause the "check engine" light to come on.
