could be headlight fuse or headlight switch.
On my 2000 town and country, you pull out the headlight switch, fog lamps only work on low beam On my 2000 town and country, you pull out the headlight switch, fog lamps only work on low beam On my 2000 town and country, you pull out the headlight switch, fog lamps only work on low beam
Your switch either has a short or is going out
The headlight switch and or the headlight switch electrical plug may be bad. Inspect the switch/plug and you may find the plug melted.
Bad headlight switch.
I would start with replacing the head light switch
AnswerIf the lights work on the flash to pass but do not work otherwise either the switch is bad or the dimmer switch is bad. I just am working on a 1995 Ranger and found the dimmer switch to be bad. I checked the headlight switch and that was good so I found the dimmer switch to be the problem. I jumped the wires after unplugging the dimmer switch and lights come on. Replace the headlight dimmer switch and good to go! Hope this helps.
First check bulb, if good, must be in the switch. Bad contact. Open it up and clean the contacts. The headlight circuit on these bikes goes through the starter switch as well. If part of that switch goes bad the headlight will not work.
Had the same problem with mine. Jiggled the headlight switch and now they work. I suspect the headlight switch is going.
Bulbs? Fuses? Relay? Dimmer switch? Headlight switch?
The headlight switch may be bad. Try replacing. Its the Headlight switch. The switch has a built in Circuit Breaker that self resets. It has become bad and will eventually give it up.
