Without high level of estrogen and progesterone, pregnancy can not continue and and abortion will occur. So many times your Gynecologist will give you depot preparation of progesterone weekly to continue pregnancy.

Your progesterone needs to be over 20. I would ask IMMEDIATELY for progesterone cream, shots, or oral. If you are in the early stages of five weeks your hcg beta is perfect.

well it depends what your on, if your on 'the pill' then yes it will effect your progesterone levels you see the pill is simply a fake dose of oestrogen and progesterone, this lifts your bodies level of these hormones as they will do when you fall pregnant ( it pretty much fools your body into thinking its pregnant threoug fake hormones)

It is possible that you are pregnant. A decrease in BBT could indicated a decrease in progesterone. You need to have enough progesterone in your system to sustain a pregnancy, so if you think you are pregnant and your BBT has dropped, you should see a doctor asap (you can increase your progesterone level with pills or injections, but you may miscarry if your temperature remains too low).

Most doctors like you to be no lower than 10. If you are bleeding or have any other miscarriage symptoms along with it, I am sorry to say, you may be miscarrying. Hopefully you are not, and the doctors can get you on a prescription ASAP. The best of luck to you!
