Rabbits' ears are on top of their heads because they can quickly turn in any direction. Rabbits are prey animals, and this helps them hear predators better. Monkeys are not generally preyed upon, and they use their brains more to avoid danger than their ears. Since they do not rely as much on hearing, their ears are located at the sides of their heads.
Rabbit ears are larger than our ears. Rabbit ears can hear 10x better than humans can. Rabbit ears are covered in fur, we have ear hair. Our ears go on the side of our heads and rabbit ears go straight up or lop down if it is a lop rabbit.
Yes , because the rabbit's eyes are on the side of his head !
They have ears. The ears are not visible though, their ears are just holes on the side of their head.

The emu's ears are on either side of its head. Emu ears are not easily visible, being just small holes covered by wispy feathers, amidst the blue skin on the side of their head. See the emu ears at the related weblink below.
Yes, all reptiles have ears. Turtle ears are on the side of their head near the eyes.
most fish usually have two internal ears on each side of their head
The ears are lateral to the mouth, as they are more towards the sides. They are also superior to the mouth.
Well it could be too young, you don't quote an age. OR more than likely your rabbit has poor ear carriage. When that happens the ears will not lop properly or may lop sometimes and then do a thing called airplaning which is ears standing out on the side of head like airplane wings (neither lopped nor upright.) It has been my experience with lops that their ears will start lopping when they are quite young if your rabbit has (or will have) good ear carriage.
Crickets (and other insects) do not have ears. They have a membrane on the exoskeleton on each side of the head equivalent to an eardrum.
its their ears but they're covered to protect from water
