Best Answer

Because the rain is moving vertically downward and the car is moving horizontally that's why the motion of the rain is slant.

Is the speed of a car on a ramp affected by the degree of the slant of the ramp?

Yes. The degree and slant of the ramp does affect the speed of the car

What do you think will give a greater damage a car hitting another moving car or car car hitting a steady car?

The amount of damage relates to the relative motion of the two cars. So, if the cars are moving in opposite directions when they collide, the relative motion and the resulting damage is greater; if they are moving in the same direction, then the relative motion and the resulting damage is less. A motionless car is intermediate between a car moving in the same direction and a car moving in an opposite direction.

How does the weather affect the motion of a car?

Weather affects the motion of a car in a variety of ways the primary reason being aerodynamics. If conditions are windy then your car will be affected by the wind due to the wind resistance of the vehicle. Water can also affect the motion of a car due to it's affect on a roadway and moving parts of the car like the wheels. When cars are built all these factors are taken into consideration and that's why cars are shaped and designed the way they are, to minimize these effects.

How is Engineering related to cars?

In your car engineering education will see how car parts. when you get motion dynamics. You get that value fuel and energy into a movement. when you get drug resistance. That car get electricity.

Who is at fault in a 3 car accident when uninsured car 1 hits stopped car 2 then car 2 hit stopped car 3?

If a car hits a stopped car and sets that car into motion and it hits another car, the first car is responsible for both cars. A stopped car is not responsible when someone sets it into motion and it hits another car.

How cars paint damage?

by not taking care of it......and acid rain is one of the agents to destroy car paints. thank you...........

Does the causes of acid rain include runoff from cars?

acid rain comes from chemicals in the clouds, not runoff there is no "car runoff" runoff is from the slanted ground into water bodies

How is heat related to the motion of a bicycle or a car?

When you drive your car or ride your bike, energy is converted and some of the energy is lost as heat. That is why cars have radiator to prevent overheating.
