gravity
I'm not a scientist but I myself, think that erosion is greater on a mountain slope. This is due to gravitational pull on soil, rocks, water... Being pulled down therefore, causing erosion. This is just my opinion.
By adding more water or sloping the land.

The major factor should be its speed. The higher its speed, the more force the stream will hit the bank and bed, making the land erode more easily.
They help the flow of rain off the roof. Flat rooves are more subject to leaking.
No wind/weather to erode them
If a rivers slope decreases, its ability to erode land under it decreases too. The slope determines the rivers velocity. The steeper the slope, the higher the velocity, the more erosion.
Short answer: No. Longer answer: Although lots of houses there have sloping roofs, Holland is not 'the' country. Lots of houses have flat roofs too. In countries with lots of snow each winter, houses tend to have more sloping roofs; almost all have in the alps (Austria, Switzerland).
A mesa is, in general, an area of flat-topped land with fairly steeply sloped sides. As the sides of a mesa weather and erode, material will accumulate along the base of the slopes. This will decrease the steepness of the slope at the base.
A fast-moving river will erode the land faster.
They erode the rock and land, and also generally create more wildlife around the area
The land type of Texas is that it has more flat land than mountains or hills.
