Carbon dioxide is what makes soda soda. It's a gas that's constantly being created by the drink, and since it's a gas this creates bubbles. The sound of fizzing is what is sounds like when lots and lots of tiny bubbles are popping at once. That's why the sound of baking soda + vinegar, boiling water, and splashing waves sound so much like fizzing soda. The tingly and strong taste you get from soda is also from the carbon dioxide.
Carbonated drinks are sealed at 5 to 10 atmospheric pressure, when the seal is broken, the CO2's pressure is released and reaches less than 1 atm
because when something is fizzy have you noticed if you shake it about it makes bubble of air fizz every wear that's because they need the gas to make it fizzy.
The carbon dioxide (CO2) in Carbonated Beverages react with the oxygen in the air and result in a bubbly fizz which is the CO2 being released into the air.
Because the liquid is carbonated, so when you open it, that carbonation is trying to escape. Also, this is why sodas that have been left open for a while don't taste as fizzy.
