In men, the variation is mostly genetic. You can see men with little facial hair that still have strong sex drives and can build great strength and muscle mass. Ergo there is nothing wrong with theyr testosterone level or other processes that this hormone interacts with. These men do not necesseraly grow more facial hair even thou you give them various anabloic steroid treatments. Still, in some few cases, hormone disturbances can lead to less hair then else would be. Hormone disturbances is not something anyone should to be expecting in most obviously healthy young male individuals.

In women, more or less body hair is most often also genetic, but in some few cases can be a result of a hormone unbalance like elevated testosterone levels or in few cases steroid usage. Unbalance in hormone levels that leads to hair growth is also not to be expected in most young otherwise clearly healthy female individuals.

Don't worry, we are all different. Our ancestors were a bunch of hairy mammals, and some believe that so are we.

the answer is because your protein in your hair is different. With thick hair you have more protein, with thin hair you have less protein that is also the reason for straight hair and curly hair.

Is there any way that you can facilitate the growth of facial hair if you are 22 and do not have facial hair?

Facial and body hair is down mainly to your genetics. If you do not have facial hair yet at 22-years-old then there is still time. Facial and body hair comes with the onstart of puberty, but a beard can take a while to appear. It may start a bit here and there or look patchy in places when it begins but it is a sign that facial hair is beginning. Some races of people have genetics that gives very little facial and body hair and others much more.

How can someone grow more body and chest hair?

Unfortunately, it's all in your genes. However, men's body hair doesn't usually finish growing until they are about 30. So if you are a younger man with no body hair, it is likely that you will develop more body hair over time.

Does hair have feelings?

hair is composed of DEAD cells. the body uses proteins to grow and repair tissues your body does not store proteins so to get rid of excess proteins that turn into amino acids inside the body, the body transforms them into hair. that's why bobybuilders have to wax more often than other people. so I'm pretty sure hair does NOT have feelings.
