Why does the 3000gt cranks good but does not start only cranks?

The problem is in spark, or fuel. Rarely the Crank angle sensor. ECU could be going bad too.

1991 to 1993 3000gt do not have a crank sensor. Only a cam sensor. And when does go out the car will not start or have a very irregular idle.

There is no "motor" on a stock 93 3000GT (or Stealth) sunroof. The stock sunroof is a manual removable glass roof with a hand-crank regulator that cranks the glass up about 2-3 inches, then you have the option of removing and storing it in the hatch. well yeah if you get out and push it If you are talking about the non-turbo 3000GT. The only ones I know of that are pretty close is the newer Civic SI's. A good running non-turbo 3000GT will go about 15.5 in the 1/4. Look up the 1/4 mile times on Civics to get an idea of how they would compare.

i don't know about the 3000gt but Mitsubishi is very good i bought one brand new and had it for 15 yrs the most money i put into it at one time was $583 [morri908] I own a 1993 Mitsubishi 3000GT SL (non turbo). It's a great car. It takes forever for a part to break, but remember that when it does it'll cost you quite a bit to fix (... well, just slightly higher then other cars.) And remember that it only takes Premium fuel

The problem needs to be present to trouble shoot it. If guessing is your preference, the garage will provide you with good guesses. But it could get expensive. My guess is a module that would control spark.
