It could be a fuse , a sensor , or some other problem

" normal " brakes

Bring to a shop that has an ABS scanner to determine the problem
You can turn off the seatbelt warning light in your 2006 Ford Explorer, by buckling the seatbelts. When the seat is occupied the warning light will stay on until the seatbelt is buckled.
What I did was find the correct fuse for for the ABS motor and remove the fuse . the abs light will stay on but this did it for me. or find the motor just in front of the master cylinder and unplug it.
Something is wrong with the charging system. Defective alternator would be my guess.

If the lights in your lock buttons remain on after the truck is powered off, you may have a problem with your fuse. It the light remaining on could be because you have an electrical problem in your Ford Explorer, as well.
