The Bible clearly states in Galatians 3:28 that "28There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus."
This specifically states that while humankind may be be respecters of persons, God can clearly see beyond the physical, and sees all as equal before him. I believe this is one of the main tenants that sets Christianity apart from other belief systems.
As far as the bible teaching that women are property, it may be that the Bible is simply relating a cultural belief of the time as opposed to specifying that women should in fact be considered property. Could you be specific as to a particular verse in the Bible?
No, the Bible does not say this.
He felt compassionate about women
in eragon
nothing because ministy isn't a word
Nowhere
Opinion:The Bible doesn't really say much about what women accompanied John the Baptist.
There is no specific verse in the Bible that explicitly prohibits women from wearing pants. Modesty and appropriate clothing are mentioned in various passages, but the specific prohibition against women wearing pants is not mentioned.
The Bible doesn't say that. The words "Woman" and "Liar" don't even occur in the same verse anywhere in the English Standard Version (ESV) of the Bible. See related link.
Nathan does not say this during the novel at all sorry
With Bible and Only Bible. Some women think that the Bible doesn't say anything about them and leadership. The Pastor of that church is the head of that church and all women and other men need to fall in behind him. Ask God for the right words and he will give them to you.
There were no women Apostles.
One of the first English translations of the Bible that was legally distributed was the King James Version. During the time of its translation, women were thought of as property. I blame the translation for the sexism. Many women were used in the Bible to do work for God.
