Nearly every rule of the Catholic Church has its basis in Biblical teachings - both from the Old and the New Testaments. You might give a specific example and we will try to explain how it is Biblical. Some rulings may be based on traditions which Saint Paul holds are as important as scripture.

Roman Catholic AnswerIt is important to keep in mind that Our Blessed Lord established the Church, He did NOT write The Bible. The Bible was written by, formed by, defined by, and perserved by the Catholic Church. Without the Catholic Church there simply would be no New Testament. Every writer of every book of the New Testament (including the God, who is the primary author of Scripture) was a member of the Catholic Church. The Catholic Church, in other words wrote the Bible in the first century after Our Blessed Lord's death. She did not establish which books were to be included and which excluded until the fourth century, and she has perserved the Bible inerrantly since then. The question then should be, are there any rules in the Bible that are not in the Church, and the obvious answer is No, they have one and the same source - God. Futher, the Catholic Church does not develop rules, she follows the rules that God has revealed to Her as needed for salvation, the first one, of which, is to believe in Our Blessed Lord, and to follow His Church, which is His Mystical Body and the way He has established to lead all people to heaven.

Is it okay for a catholic person to have premarital sex?

The Roman Catholic Church teaches that all sex outside marriage is a sin. Remember that the roman catholic church also said it was a sin to believe the sun was the centre of the universe not long ago and you were punished for it. they come up with alot of stories and traditions dont they. The same church who covers up child sexual abuse by the clergy!! Funnily the church numbers are dropping.....hmm Answer Ofcourse theres no seal or cover over the related private parts is there, theres no testosterone release ceremony when you marry! and ive never seen anyone thrown with fire and brimstone because they are doing whats natural. Sure what if you do wait till marriage and the other is a terrible lover and ohh you find out you arent actually lovers live a dull unfullfilling married life!- sex is vital in a relationship if you want it to last or be real.

What are the elements of the conflicts between Catholicism and Protestanism?

Well. This is a very good question, and here is the answer. The first century Church found in the book of Acts was indeed the "Catholic Church. And for about 1000 years that Catholic Church functioned as the true church of God. However, Roman influences mixed in with Christian doctorine and formed the Roman Catholic Church known as "Catholic" today. They picked up forms of Roman Idolatry and other unscriptural ideas. This is why the protestant reformation took place. Martin Luther, John Calvin and many others decided to take the Bible and use it literally as it was. It was the Divine Word of God and nothing else was. The idea of Sola Scriptora (Only the Bible) came along. Here are the conflicts: The Virgin Mary: The Catholic Church teaches Mary is the Co-Redemptrix. She was without original sin, and never sinned. She was a virgin her entire life. And is the Mother of God. She receives worship and prayers. The issue here is. None of this is factual. Mary had to be a sinner otherwise Paul was wrong when he said "None are righteous, No not one". Also, no where in the New Testament do we see this form of Worship to anyone other than the Lord Jesus. Also, the idea that Mary is eternally a virgin is simply wrong. It is fact that Mary had many other children, aside from Jesus. Just read the book of James, written by Marys Son and Jesus' Brother. Purgatory: The Catholic Church believes that if your not good enough for heaven but not bad enough for hell, you will go to an in between ground called purgatory. Note, NO WHERE FROM GENISIS TO REVELATION IS THE NOTION OF PURGATORY FOUND. Salvation: The Catholic Church teaches in order to get to heaven there are 4 things you must do. 1) Join the true Church. 2) Recieve one of three baptisms. (water, blood, or charity) 3) Repent of Sins 4) Do many good works. Wow. This idea is so unbiblical and can cause so much stress and pressure on humanity. The Bible says "Whosever shall call on the name of the LORD Shall be saved." and "It is by GRACE you are saved through FAITH, it is a Gift from God, NOT OF WORKS, Lest any man should boast." Protestants believe that if you confess your sins and make Jesus your LORD and Savioir you will go to heaven. This means giving your life to follow and serve Him and his teachings. Baptism, Works, or Church Membership are NOT required for heaven. HOWEVER, this does not mean one can be saved and then go on living in sin and go to heaven. If one is truly saved, Christ lives in them via the Holy Spirit, and they will do good works naturally, just as Christ would. If one does not bear good works, they most likely arent saved. The Bible says "You will know them by the fruit they bear". There must be evidence. Also, Baptistm is good, but not required. It is a public declaration of faith, not required for heaven. If it was, how then did the thief on the cross get to heaven? Lastly, Church memebership is not required. Many Catholics will go to heaven because of their repentance of sin. Most Protestants will go to heaven. Whatever church you join, just make sure it is in allignment with the Word of God! There are many more contradictions, these are just a few... GOD BLESS THE CATHOLIC CHURCH AND THE PROTESTANT SISTER CHURCHES.

Name the Mormon secret army defence group?

Uh... Temple Square Security??? There isn't a secret Mormon army defence group. The closest thing is probably a security guard on Temple Square. They arent secret and they arent an army defence group. There has been no organized Church militia or army since the mid-1800's, when Church members felt the need to protect their own settlements.
