Why does the God of the Bible always abuse oppress and put women down?

It wasn't just "women." But, the reason is the same for why He allows it to go on, even today...
God gave this world over to man in the beginning, and an allotment of time to rule over it... along with His Commandments -- which are His guidelines on how to love one another.
God has only given man "two choices" to make in this life, regarding His laws -- obey them, or don't.
So, the reason God allows oppression and abuse to go on in the world, is because man chose NOT to obey his Creator's laws.
Man chose to "love himself" [selfishness], rather than his fellowman.
Man chose to worship and obey the "god of this world," Satan the Devil, instead [Gen.3].
"...He [the Devil] was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the Truth [see John 17:17], because there is no Truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it." (John 8:44)
Man learned his "craft" of oppression and abuse from his god, the father of lies, murder and deceit:
"Ye are of your father the Devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do..." (same verse).
The ways of man's chosen god and his chosen path are the ways of "oppression and abuse"; which is rooted in the basic human emotions; envy, jealousy, lust and greed.
So, God "allows" oppression and abuse, because man chose [and chooses] to do it.
