Animals have the ability to suffer. SPCA cares about the welfare of animals, believing that it is our duty as people who care to try to help those who suffer. It's the same reason that there are organizations which help abused or hurt humans.

∙ 13y agoThe SPCA helps neglected animals because animals have the rights to live a good life. They too are alive and should be cared for as a child would. The SPCA does what they do because some animals are emaciated/uncared for, and they understand that they must be helped.

∙ 12y agoSPCA is an Auckland version of the Australian RSCPA, its a free service that speaks for the animals that cant speak for themselves. It rescues animals in need of a better home, they usually have trouble looking after the animals because the government only gives them so much money, that's why they try and get as much money from the community to help these animals.

What does the SPCA do for animals?
Some of the goals of SPCA organizations are to protect animals against negligence, abuse, and exploitation, and by providing food and shelter and arranging adoptions, representing animal interests to ensure their well-being while working with law enforcement agencies, and to develop public awareness and compassion for all living creatures, whether pets, farm animals, or wild creatures. The SPCA takes in stray or abused animals into there shelter and take care of them feeds them and loves them. Then they help the animals find loving homes SPCA's are ment for animals that are currently getting abused, for them to help them until they are hopefully claimed. They have the SPCA for the purpose that they spend most attention with the hurt, or needed animals. If no one claims them in a certain amount of time, sadly they will put them down. If people find homeless pets or can't take care of their pets anymore they take them to the SPCA. There the SPCA will get them back to health (if they're sick or hurt) and then put them up for adoption. They are a great place to get a pet from. If you are looking for a new pet I strongly suggest you get it from them.

If the animals are hurt they, give them the best care they can until the animals are healed, then they give them to caring, kind people who give them homes. SPCA gets people to volunteer, the volunteers take dogs for walks/or running, and they spend one on one time with the animals too. I am a volunteer at an SPCA close to where I live.

Hi, Animals in experiments are abused to a certain extent. They are not beaten and hurt but sometimes the experiment can have a drastic and possibly fatal effect on the animal. i would consider this Abuse but many people have contradicting views.
