No, "Black People" are not so called black, they are of African descent, and their skin colour varies from very dark brown to lighter shades, the same as Caucasian people, who originated in Europe, they can be very brown and go lighter depending as to how long they stay in the sun, then of course there is what you call Mediterranean skin colour or Asian. Native North American people are different skin colour again! Isn't it great that there are so many different people in the world?
