The Founding Fathers had seen that being ruled by a monarchy, England, before the American Revolution had not gone so well. They wished the create a government by the people that prevent a single person or group from getting too much power. So no one has all the power. Right now congress is allowing Trump to decide it’s agenda and bills giving the office of President too much power. Any bill they could want they can do, send to the president and if he votes it they can override the veto. This isn’t happening now.
